Fund reporting

Investors receive quarterly financial reports, e-mail correspondence and are invited to attend annual meetings where they can meet and question the portfolio company CEOs and the investment teams in person.

Reiten & Co follow International Private Equity Valuation Guidelines (IPEV) with emphasis on Multiples, which is a valuation technique “likely to be appropriate for an Investment in an established business with an identifiable stream of continuing earnings or revenue that is considered to be maintainable” (see paragraph 3.4 in the 2015 Guidelines).

The portfolio companies are valued based on forecast performance for the year multiplied with a comparable peer group multiple. In some cases the forecast performance and/or peer group multiple may be adjusted to allow for one-off effects or relatively small size compare to the peer group. The funds are audited annually by PWC in Guernsey, Channel Islands.
